I’ve never really been a keeper of blogs. I had one once, but I find that it’s easy to get sidetracked and not keep up with it. I think I finally am organized enough to be a keeper of one so,. Here it goes!
I just graduated from FIU with a BS in Mass Comm. in Advertising & PR & no I will not be getting a job at an agency. All roads seem to lead to Community life in one form or another,. or maybe all forms! God has led me to, I’ve applied for & have been accepted by a missionary organization, Saint Paul’s Outreach (SPO). It caters to college campuses around the United States fostering authentic Community. (*announcer voice* find more info at spoweb.org).
I don’t know where in the US I’ll be sent yet but I can’t wait! After a lot of fasting and praying my family finally accepted the fact I’ll be leaving in a month or so to my unknown location. 1st week Mission Leader training is next week & I’m anxious/excited to travel and meet all the new lovely people I’ll be training & serving with. God is really doing something amazing & I am overjoyed to be a part of it.
I’ll be gone a week for the first part of training and be back for FUNDRAISING (I’m reading a book they sent me on it) I leave to SPO semi-permanently July 25th & be visiting on some major holidays. A lot of preparation & a lot of change is in motion. Holiness is calling & discipline goes hand in hand with discipleship.
